Welcome to the Smoky Mountains, the home of Otter Ridge Leather. In our studio in the Fines Creek area of Haywood County we create rustic, country and western styles of genuine leather window valances for your log home, cabin, country home or office. We have four original designs, created by artist and designer Carol Stefen. Each valance is hand made from genuine leather. Our window valances are available in several colors or a combination of colors and accented with loop tabs at the top with hardwood buttons (cut from our farm) or silver conchos. Leather Art
I refer to my leather creations as "Leather Art". A great deal of thought and time goes into my leather valances once my customer has decided on the style. Each unique piece is hand cut. I make them with or without patterns, hand fringed, leather overlay or inlay, often combining two styles for a beautiful look. Some styles can be made reversible.
